Spectrum Music

What is Spectrum Music?

Spectrum is a  group of Canadian composers who create concerts where jazz, classical, pop, and world music meet.  Each of our concerts has a unique theme to inspire our compositions and explore points where art music collides with the real world.

Rooted in jazz and creative music,  the core of our philosophy is the idea that the future of jazz music lies in its synthesis with other genres. Since our formation in 2010, Spectrum has expanded to include composers and performers from a diverse array of musical backgrounds and communities.
