Earth, Wind & Fire meets Enrique Iglesias.
The Supremes meet Carlos Santana.
A band like no other: A driving rhythm section, a powerful female horn section, motown-style vocals, and a Top-40-calibre stage show.
Thoughtful lyrics and great grooves: Music to be appreciated by the mind and body.
This accomplished group of musicians from the GTA had been working together for several years as a corporate cover band, when inspiration struck: What would happen if we combined our knowledge of popular repertoire, performance chops, and showmanship into an original project? The result: The Achromatics, a nine-person superband of epic proportions which debuted this July at the Mississauga Ribfest.
Like a lense that transmits light without separating it into distinct colors, The Achromatics transmit sound and experience without distinguishing between genres. A truly Canadian band, they’ve created a new sensation in pop music that hopes to unite people regardless of culture, age, or class.
